                 Strike one , a simple warning 

Strike two , a deadly warning 

Strike three , lies a lifeless body

A daughter , a mother , a sister, 

in cold-blood taken from the community. 

It takes a second to hold her by the neck,

It takes half a second for a man to be triggered by rejection, 

Then even less for them to do something they won't regret,

He got your genitals by force, for him that restores his respect. 

I live in a country where rape is second nature. 

Every second female has their own story of how they raped her, 

Some survive , some others get yellow taped up 

and the government claims he is doing enough to protect us. 

He makes Women For Change, sound like women in chains , because he still hasn't released these women from the shackles of violence. 

Who can we trust, when our "protectors" are amongst the vultures,

That seem to be immune to the rape culture. 

All they do is add numbers to the stats list,

As they know the justice system will hide them in the mist,

And only the perpetrators they will assist , by just giving them a slap on the wrist,

Even after they have raped and killed, they recieve a kiss...from the law , but what about her shattered jaw ?

They gift them with bail , but what about the women they have failed ? 

I still cannot fathom why there is a sense of pride and dignity in raping people's daughters. 

When did her genitalia become a prize in place of supporting her. 

In my country if you're a man, you either a victim or a perpetrator,

If you are a woman ,

 you are a victim, 

Then a victim again,

Then a victim again, 

until you die. 

I need no convincing that we in a state of femicide. 

Those men that are outspoken about getting vagina but are dead silent when they have to stand up for vagina, are too a contributor of why women are in chains and there's Women For Change. 

We fighting to survive , fighting to stay alive,

Before a man who is not God, tells us; when it is okay for them to let us die.
